The polishing of various aluminium profiles for automotive sector, for furniture and interior designs is mainly carried out through semi-automate machines, called ‘benches’, where the profiles are placed on a board which moves repeatedly from left to right under a roll made by many coupled buffs.

This particular kind of polishing is done with two types of buffs (polishing with sisal discs and brightening with cotton buffs) and for that Alchem has developed some liquid emulsions which can be also sprayed by means of high pressure guns directly on the profile by means of rolls, avoiding then the unpleasant sings left on the profile during thermal shock.
